The Writing Pool is committed to helping writers all over the world improve their writing. Our primary service began with a Weekly newsletter: The Weekly Writing Post™, which was originally the PEIWG Weekly, published for the PEI Writers’ Guild in 2009. In 2013, the PEIWG decided that it wanted a newsletter that was exclusively for its members, and the Weekly, with over 3,000 subscribers, became an independent newsletter. Not wanting to limit access to all the information we had amassed or created, we decided to create The Writing Pool, where anyone anywhere in the world could have access to that information.

Besides publishing information of interest to writers, we offer support to writers and groups by providing links to writerly sites and publishing your writing so you can share it with others.
