Award-winning PEI Poet Reading in Montague Library Feb. 2

Dianne Hicks Morrow will give a public reading on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Montague Rotary Library, 53 Wood Islands Road. The reading is hosted by the Montague Library Writers Guild, which acknowledges the support of The Canada Council for the Arts and The League of Canadian Poets for this event.

A gifted storyteller, Morrow has given readings across Canada, and in Tasmania, Australia. Her latest book of poetry, What Really Happened Is This: A Poetry Memoir, won a 2012 PEI Book Award.

A book reviewer wrote in the Halifax Chronicle Herald: “Rarely do I finish a book of poetry in tears and laughter… This is a potent and lucid collection from one of Prince Edward Island’s finest poets.”

All are invited to this reading. A book signing and refreshments will follow. Free admission.
