MasterPlayWorks Spring 2011

Character-Generated Story and Plot Workshop

Twenty hours; Live, on-line, interactive.

For Writers of DRAMA and PROSE FICTION:   A rich and powerful interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas and expanding your craft in the company of working artists.?

Conducted by Kent Stetson,
Winner of the Governor General’s Literary Award,
The Canadian Author’s Association Carol Bolt Award
and Member of the Order of Canada.

“Examine your process. Master your craft, on-line, over twenty hours, in the company of your peers.”
Twice weekly, Saturday 11am – 1pm (eastern standard time, Canada) and Wednesday 7pm-9pm for 5 weeks (20 hours) Saturday April 30 to Wednesday June 1 2011.

“Kent Stetson’s course blesses the author’s process with lucidity.  You come away clearer, sharper, sorted, inspired.  His sessions rely on interactive growth.  Progress is writer-generated.  The results are character-generated.  This is the course I recommend to you if a professional writer seeking refreshment of your craft, mastery of a new genre, or if you’ve done your dabbling and are ready to write.”  Porter Anderson, BA, MA, MFA  (Porter Anderson is a former critic for the Village Voice, NYC, CNN Anchor/Producer, and fellow of the National Critics Institute of the USA)
