Dear Reader –
Please help the PEI Writers’ Guild celebrate 20 years of encouraging reading and writing on the Island by coming out in support of the Pen & Inkling Festival, September 18 – 20, 2009. Exciting literary events will take place in all three Island counties at Tyne Valley, St. Peters, and Charlottetown.
I am attaching a Schedule of Events so you can see all the wonderful components we have planned for your enjoyment – surely something for everyone who loves the written and spoken word! I hope you will plan on attending at least one of these special occasions. All events are wheelchair accessible and admission is free or by donation.
If you would prefer to receive a Charitable Tax Receipt for your donation of $30 or more, please mail your gift to PEI Writers’ Guild, 115 Richmond Street, Charlottetown PE C1A 1H7. Donors of $100 or more will also receive a complimentary copy of The Figure in the Landscape, the PEIWG’s nice-and-naughty calendar featuring Island writers posed in nature at beautiful Rock Barra for art photographer John Sylvester. I promise you that every dollar will be dedicated to supporting the PEI Writer’s Guild in its outreach to writers at every level of development.
I look forward to seeing you at the Pen & Inkling Festival!
Cheers!
