PEI Writers’ Guild Hosts All-Ages Fundraiser for its 20th Anniversary

The PEI Writer’s Guild is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and is hosting a springtime, all-ages, rock fundraiser night at The Confederation Centre Studio Theatre on Friday, May 29.

Bands set to wield their rock axes in support of the Writers’ Guild are: Smothered In Hugs, The Danks, The Barnkats, The Death Avengers, Sister Jack, and New Royalty.

The Writers’ Guild will be hosting The Island Literary Awards this coming September, in the midst of an Island-wide, weekend-long celebration called the Pen and Inkling Festival. Proceeds raised will go towards orchestration of these events. The show will run from 7pm-11pm, and admission at the door is $7.
