A free poetry reading will be held on May 6, at 7:30pm, at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery.
The PEI Writers’ Guild, with the support and direction of the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia, and in partnership with the UPEI Department of English, the UPEI Robertson Library, and the Confederation Centre Art Gallery, will host 2009 Atlantic Poetry Prize nominees Brent MacLaine and Alan R. Wilson, along with 2009 Thomas Head Raddall Atlantic Fiction Prize nominee Douglas Arthur Brown, at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery as part of the Atlantic Ink Festival (www.atlanticink.ca). This event will feature opportunities for discussion with the featured authors, sales and signing of their work, and–of course–refreshments. Admission is free.
