Know any talented young writers that deserve recognition?
The CAA Emerging Writer Award honours a Canadian writer under 30 who shows the most promise in the field of literary creation. Genre doesn’t matter: Poetry, fiction, nonfiction, scripts – published or unpublished. The winner may be selected based on a body of work in a variety of forms, or on a body of work in a single genre or writing form.
Nominations may be made by creative writing instructors, Canadian Authors branches and TWIGs, professional writers, and publishers.
Deadline: April 30, 2013 (postmark)
Prize: $500 and a one-year membership with Canadian Authors
