Workshop Description: Mark Twain says there never was an uninteresting life, so come learn how to explore your own rich memories through a variety of exciting hands-on writing exercises in this three-hour creative writing workshop. Whether you are an aspiring writer, or simply want to collect and preserve your stories for your family, this workshop will equip you with the tools you need to start shaping and preserving your important memories.
Christy-Ann Conlin is the bestselling author of the novel, Heave. Her memoir writing has been published in numerous anthologies, and magazines. Her radio documentary memoirs have been broadcast on CBC Radio. Christy-Ann has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and is an online instructor for the University of Toronto. Her young adult novel, Dead Time, was published in January 2011, and her second adult novel, Listening to the Island will be published in 2013.
