Transformational Journal Writing Workshop

Have you attended writing workshops where you come home exhausted from the required pre-reading and critiquing of others’ work? This is not one of
those. Transformational Journal Writing will help you write new material in
your own true voice, in a lively way that will keep you writing long after
you go home. Journal writing encourages total freedom of expression. You
will be given tools to develop your own voice, whether or not you already
keep a journal.

Workshop participants will also explore ways to transform their new or old
journal entries into other forms of writing of their choice such as: memoir,
poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and/or plays.

Participants will have the opportunity to read their writing for group
feedback, using agreed-upon guidelines.

Registration fee is $300 for 30 workshop hours. The workshop is limited to
