The Atlantic Magazines Association has brought together an outstanding
line-up of magazine-industry leaders and experts. With speakers addressing a
wide range of publishing topics, this is a can’t-miss event for anyone in
the Atlantic Canadian magazine business—editors, designers, account
managers, publishers, writers and circulation managers.

This exciting event includes a Welcome Reception from 5 to 7pm at the Westin
Nova Scotian. Industry expert and blogger D.B. Scott will give an
inspirational and forward-looking keynote speech titled “Why Magazines Have
a Future.”

On Monday morning, the conference begins with a Welcome Breakfast from 8 to
8:45am. Following that is a series of professional-development seminars,
running 9am to 5pm.

Speakers include Martin White on More than Display Ads – How
To Monetise Your Web Site, Faith Drinnan on Cultivate Relationships with
Professional In-House Fulfillment, Melanie McBride on Social Media and
Your Magazine’s Website, D.B. Scott on the Power of Print, Kim Pittaway on
Developing Online Content and Donna Braggins on how to build a magazine’s
“brand” through design
